Dynamic centrifugal chemical process pumps have low flow regulation, their flow varies widely with variations in system resistance, a characteristics that lends itself to easy flow control. Dynamic centrifugal pumps give steady flow at uniform pressure without pressure surges. This provides the greatest possible flexibility, developing & specific maximum discharge pressure under any operating condition with delivery controlled by either speed variation or throttling. Construction:

Casing : Single stage radially split single volute casing, end suction, top centerline discharge, self- venting with fully confined gasket and backpull out facility.

Impeller : The impeller is either enclosed or semi open type with maximum mechanical strength & designed for high efficiency and low NPSH. Back vanes are provided for reducing axial thrust stuffing box pressure, & to prevent entrance of solids in stuffing box. The impeller is positively locked on the shaft and cannot get loose under reverse rotation.

Stuffing Box : Stuffing Box is designed with standard cavity dimensions as per ISO - 3069 Std. which facilitates installation of soft packing or Mechanical Seals depending upon operating conditions.

Normal construction is with five rings of packing and lantern ring and split gland for easy replacement of packing without dismantling the pump. Lantern rings with tapped opening for external flushing is standard. Throat busing can be supplied as optional where dilution permitted has to be minimum due to flushing fluid.

Shaft & Shaft Sleeve: Shaft of rigid construction of high tensile steel material suitable for handling liquid of higher specific gravity and designed for minimum deflection. Hardened 7 ground shaft sleeve or chrome plated can be offered.

Bearing & Lubrication: Dynamic Pumps are provided with deep groove ball bearings at the motor end and pump end. These bearings are strong enough to take radial and axial thrusts. Oil mist lubrication system is standard feature of Dynamic Pumps, Pumps are provided with constant level oilers, which maintain necessary oil level in bearing housing and guarantee efficient lubrication.
